Beautiful shots, though I think the 1999 French expedition for Oceans World or some such holds the record with 1,000 Beluga whales caught in the Eskimoe Lakes east of Tooktiuktuk. They had to get DFO and the Inuvialuit to agree to permit a cull. They, the Inuit, got permission. The French were a bit out of sorts, having intended to film matters pre-human. The Inuit won, thank God.
