I know the plethora of magnificent northern lights photos posted are getting out of control, though these are so good that they have to be shown to the world and our loyal subscribers. Natural Habitat Adventures guide Drew Hamilton snapped these boreal forest aurora borealis pics last night in Churchill. With the season continuing to build toward the Hudson Bay Quest on March 17th, we keep thinking the aurora borealis can’t get any better. It’s never been so good to be wrong! Enjoy!

An extreme activity warning for aurora borealis viewing was issued prior to last night for Churchill and we surely were not disappointed! These images from Natural Habitat Adventure’s guide Drew Hamilton are pretty creative and spectacular. The nights have been filled with northern lights this season and they just seem to be getting better and better. With 10 days and counting until the Hudson Bay Quest leaves from Churchill hopes are high for some night navigation by the glow in the sky.

These three northern lights pics from Alex De Vries – Magnifico were taken last night at the snowed – in Aurora Domes outside of town. This season is building up to one of the greatest northern lights season’s ever. Spectacular aurora borealis has been a recurring happening with nearly nightly shows in the northern Churchill sky.
